Luke Balstad passed away unexpectedly at his home in Michigan as a sophomore at Harvard. The college reported Tuesday that 25-year-old Luke Balstad passed away. Luke T. Balstad, a sophomore in Quincy House, was described as "brilliant and friendly" as well as "enthusiastic about science and the outdoors" by the Dean of the College Rakesh Khurana in an email addressed to Harvard undergraduates on Tuesday. The university withheld the cause of death, although rumors have it that the Harvard student committed suicide.
