Yonkers Police veteran Frank Gualdino was killed in a car accident.(death, obituary)



Death of Frank Gualdino Following a multi-vehicle collision on Tuckahoe Road at the Sprain Brook Parkway overpass, Frank Gualdino, a 24-year Yonkers Police Department veteran, was killed. At around 3:30 PM, the accident happened. While on duty and operating an unmarked police car, Sergeant Gualdino was traveling west on Tuckahoe Road when a BMW sedan traveling east is said to have lost control and entered the opposite lane, crashing into both his car and a Westchester County Bee-Line bus.

He was the only person in the police car; he was taken in critical condition to a nearby trauma center, where he passed away. The BMW's sole occupant and driver, who was in critical condition, was taken to a nearby trauma center.
