Death of Javier Fabela - We mourn the loss of Supervisory Border Patrol Agent Javier Fabela. The word of his passing spread on November 13, 2022, a Sunday. Javier apparently committed suicide, though his family has not officially disclosed the exact cause of death. He served as many agents' father, friend, and mentor. He spent 19 years working for the US Border Patrol after serving his country as an infantry sniper in the Army.
