On Friday, November 18, 2022, Ryan Dale Parrish, 36, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away. To Dale and Tina Parrish in Carlsbad, New Mexico, Ryan was born on April 12, 1986.
Ryan adored playing baseball and golf when he was younger. In 2004, he graduated from Carlsbad High School. He then attended Texas Tech University for his undergraduate studies before earning his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of New Mexico. Then, in 2007, Ryan began working at WIPP, where he first held positions as a Nuclear Safety Analyst, a Facilities Shift Manager, and an Underground Facility Manager. Ryan loved the great outdoors and enjoyed collecting firearms. His ornery personality and great sense of humor always led him to play around with his friends and family. Additionally, he was the most loving, generous, and kind gentleman who gave the best hugs. Ryan's family was his entire world and his greatest joy.
In addition to his wife and best friend Kelsey Parrish of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Ryan is also survived by Brooklyn Garza and James of Carlsbad, New Mexico, his parents Dale and Tina Parrish of Carlsbad, New Mexico, his brother David Dossey and Lyrissa of Carlsbad, New Mexico, his nephew James Dossey and Rhylee of Carlsbad, New Mexico, his niece Kaley Dossey and Josh of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Dale and Barbara Parrish, Ryan's paternal grandparents, and Indian and Betty Whygles, his maternal grandparents, were both predeceased, as were his Indian and Betty Whygles of Carl
Cremation has already taken place, and Pastor John W. Burke will officiate at a memorial service on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
