Pierce Allman, a well-known Dallas businessman and philanthropist who was a co-owner of Allie Beth Allman & Associates, has passed away. At the age of 88, he died on Friday, November 25, 2022. As of the time of this report, the precise reason for his death is unknown. Pierce Morriss Allman, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, businessman, civic leader, preservationist, and philanthropist, passed away peacefully on November 25th with his loved ones by his side, according to a post by Allie Beth Allman & Associates on Monday.

In Little Rock, Arkansas, on January 5, 1934, Pierce Moss Allman was born. His parents were Margaret and Robert Allman. Despite graduating in 1950, Pierce was recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus in 2012. Pierce co-chaired Save Our School and Community, was in charge of the Leadership Council, and served on the district's Strategic Planning Committee. These all contributed to the success of Highland Park ISD. In 1989, Pierce graduated from Highland Park High School with the Blanket Award.

He was given the "M" honor and was a Rotunda Favorite. Pierce enlisted in the Air Force in 1954 after earning his degree from SMU. Serving with Austin's Strategic Air Command from 1955 to 1957. He applied at WFAA radio when he got back to Dallas and was hired as the program director. He managed Cotton Bowl activities for the Southwest Conference. Allie Beth McMurtry, a recent TCU graduate, was employed by WFAA when they first met. He wed Allie Beth in Graham, Texas, on October 5, 1963.
