Superintendent Raymond Porter and the Tallapoosa County Board Of Education extend condolences to the family of Ms. Juanita Price who passed away on November 16, 2022. Ms. Price was an inspiration to the students she taught and the teachers she worked with at Dadeville Elementary School over the years. Ms. Price was an advocate for students and teachers. She served the Tallapoosa County Education Association as secretary, treasurer, vice president and president over the years. She held many of the offices multiple times during her career. Ms. Price was active as a member of the legislative contact team and served as a delegate to the AEA State Delegate Assembly many times representing Tallapoosa County. Mrs. Price appeared to be a quiet person to many, but those who served with her on the TCEA leadership team learned quickly that she had a unique sense of humor and loved to have fun. She was dedicated to her family and always met the needs of her family. She will live on in the hearts of the students she taught and in the lives that she made better with her love and dedication. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
