Lake District death victim has been identified.

Death of DAVE RUSHWORTH Dave Rushworth, the father who died unexpectedly while hiking with friends in the Lake District, has been identified. On Saturday, while he was enjoying himself with his friends, he became suddenly ill (November 12). Despite numerous attempts to save his life, he succumbed to his injuries. Mr. Rushworth, from Lancaster, was on Whin Rigg when the incident occurred, and a rescue team was called in at 12:40 p.m. Crews were quickly dispatched to the scene, along with an air ambulance.

A fundraiser was organized for Dave.
Despite the best efforts of the crew, as well as the walker's friends and passers-by, Dave was pronounced dead on the spot. Since Dave's death, there has been an outpouring of condolences and tributes. His friend has since organized a fundraiser to help with the funeral expenses. Alexander Bethell is the one who started the fund-raising campaign, which aims to raise £7,000 in total. He explained in a note posted on the GoFundMe website that "this weekend Dave had been away for a weekend in the Lakes with a few friends."
