Death, Jasmine Danielle DOTHAN, AL – The Dothan Police Department has identified Jasmine Danielle Bean, 21, and Ja'Lexius Lashon Wells, 20, of Dothan, Alabama, as victims of the Dothan shooting who died on Sunday. Responding officers pronounced Jasmine Danielle Bean and Ja'Lexius Lashon Wells dead after they were discovered with gunshot wounds at a home in Dothan on Sunday, November 20th, 2022. Both females died at the scene.

The cause of death for Jasmine Danielle and Ja'Lexius Wells

The Dothan Police Department was called to the 200 block of Fifth Avenue around 8:04 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2022, after receiving a report that two people had been shot there. When the police arrived at the scene, they determined that the information provided was correct. When Dothan Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene, they discovered that both female victims had died as a result of gunshot wounds.

According to the Dothan Police Department, neither of the females lived in the area and were only passing through. It is believed that there was a gathering of several people in this area at the time of this event. There was no one else in the building except the victims when the authorities arrived.

The family will release an obituary and funeral arrangements for Jasmine Danielle and Ja'Lexius Wells at a later date.
