Antonio Brimmer was identified following a fatal shooting at a McDonald's on South Blvd.

One person was killed in a shooting at a McDonald's restaurant in South Charlotte on Monday night. Officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrived on South Boulevard, near East Arrowood Road, around 7:45 p.m. The shooting was the result of an altercation between two people, according to the Chicago Metropolitan Police Department.

Antonio Brimmer, 30, was identified as the victim by the Chicago Metropolitan Police Department (CMPD) in a news release on Tuesday. They assert that all parties involved in the case have been identified and interviewed, and that the Mecklenburg County district attorney's office will now receive the investigation for further review. This is the 99th murder in the city so far in 2022.
